From the readme:
Welcome to Terra!

1. Install it by extracting the zip file into a new directory.
You should not mix Terra v3.2 and later versions in the same directory.
2. Run it as a WB or an UCI engine.
3. For more information see http://terra.fendrich.se

When using WinBoard take a look in Terra.ini in order to:
 - set the right book file name (see below)
 - set the right TBpath. (don't forget to set egtb=1)
 - set the hashsize adapted for your own environment

About the opening book:
In this package is only the tiny opening book drklein.book provided.
For a full book please download the main2.book:
http://wbec-ridderkerk.nl/html/downloada/terra/terra_main2.zip
and don't forget to set bookfile to main2.book!
  - in Terra.ini for WinBoard
  - in the engine-parameter window for UCI

What's new in version 3.4

- Fixed the annoying uci bug from v3.3 and a few others.
- Some cleaning up in the search code. It is probably a little bit better now.

Thanks to Patrick Beucler who made many tests and found some more bugs!
Much more information is avalable at Terra's homepage.
